Youth Clients

With nearly a decade of experience as a school counselor, I have worked extensively with children ages 4 to 8, as well as with middle and high school students. This background has provided me with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and experiences children face during their formative years in the classroom. My time in educational settings has given me valuable insight into how children express emotions, build relationships, and navigate difficulties—often in subtle ways that can be easily overlooked.

This foundation continues to inform my work with younger clients in private practice. I offer not only therapeutic expertise, but also a firsthand perspective on the realities of school life. In recognition of my dedication to this field, I was honored to receive the Louisiana Counseling Association’s School Counselor of the Year award in 2021.

Currently, I especially enjoy working with preteens and teens. My approach is developmentally appropriate, creative, and individualized, often incorporating play-based techniques—even with older clients—to ensure that therapy is safe, engaging, and tailored to each person’s unique needs.

Adult Clients

In my work with adults, I support clients as they navigate a range of concerns, including anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, and grief. My approach is informed not only by professional training, but also by personal experience—I have encountered many of these challenges myself and understand the desire to cultivate a life of inner peace.

I believe effective therapy is collaborative and individualized. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model, I strive to meet each client where they are. Together, we identify strengths, explore obstacles, and develop practical strategies—what I refer to as “life hacks”—to help you create a life that feels authentic and fulfilling.

My primary therapeutic modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based interventions, and psychoeducation. I am committed to empowering clients with knowledge and self-awareness, fostering the ability to respond thoughtfully rather than react automatically.

Whether we are practicing breathwork, examining thought patterns, or simply holding space for difficult emotions, I aim to create a nonjudgmental and supportive environment grounded in real-life experience. I offer therapy for adults both in person and through telehealth sessions.
